This is an excellent way to explore Komodo natipnal park. Jhuna is a great guide and the food is good. We have seen many dragons, turtles and mantas.

Clean, well equipped accommodation with powerful air conditioning and had the most amazing roof terrace where we watched the sunset every night whilst listening to the call of prayer. Amazing view of the sea, watching all the boats coming and going. Jhuna’s wife cooked the most amazing dinners and all were delivered to our accommodation. Fantastic lunchboxes each day too whilst we were out on our excursions. The excursion package was perfect and covered everything we wanted to do. The service from our guide and boat captains were exceptional. I cannot rate this stay highly enough. Thank you so much Jhuna, Whantocc and everyone else that made our stay so memorable :)

Un sejour dépaysant et exceptionnel

Alors, par quoi commencer tant le dépaysement était au rendez-vous. Difficile de donner un avis avec un point de vue occidental. Nous allons essayer : nous avons fait le choix conscientisé du dépaysement en optant pour un séjour dans le village de Komodo.. Côté confort : je ne pense pas que vous puissiez trouver mieux. C'est un petit homestay d'une propreté irréprochable, simple, très confortable (literie). Les chambres sont petites mais climatisée (ce qui est très appréciable). Il est doté d'un rooftop (le seul du coin) offrant une vue sur le village et l'embarcadère. Côté repas, c'est la femme de Jhuna qui gère et c'est une excellente cuisinière. Nous avons été accueilli par Jhuna dès Labuan Bajo. A notre demande, il nous a préparés un programme de visite/snorkeling sur 5 jours. En raison de ses obligations professionnelles, il nous a confiés à son ami Buddi, ( un grand merci à Buddi pour le temps passé ensemble, sa patience et son oeil affûté, à nos 2 capitaines de bateau exemplaires). 5 jours exceptionnels à sillonner en bateau et à pied, la zone. Un moment partagé qui restera dans nos coeurs. Nous reviendrons.

L’espace était grand et très propre. La nourriture préparée superbe

− Seul bémol, mais la faute est en partie la mienne : l’homestay étant sur l’île de Komodo, une fois la réservation faite on ne peut plus l’annuler. Or, étant seule, j’ai du payer les activités seule et ça m’est revenu très cher. À bien avoir en tête quand on réserve donc

Pán domaci se velmi dobře staral, aby mi po dobu pobytu nic nechybělo. Všechny pozadavky hned vyřešil. Zajistil mi krásný cdlodenni výlet i exkurzi za draky. I přesto, že jsem byla samotná žena, cítila jsem se bezpečně. Děkuji.

− Samotné ubytování je velmi čisté a příjemné. Pokud ale jedete na ostrov Komodo, samozřejmě se musíte připravit na odpovídající okolí. Zkušení cestovatelé s tím ale určitě nebudou mít žádný problém.

Excellent accommodation and activities for the adventurous traveller!

Cozy accommodation in the heart of komodo island! The staff were all very kind and our host arranged all komodo activities including hiking, snorkelling and boat transfer for an additional fee, making for a hassle free holiday! The food provided is excellent and made by the host family. The accommodation is nice with a good view of the village from a balcony terrace and bedroom air conditioning which was a blessing. Our experiences of meeting the village people and seeing the local wildlife via our activities have made memories i shall treasure.
