Lovely apartment in a nice small town, conveniently located for Knossos Palace
8.0The apartment has a nice big main room with living space, kitchen and dining area, plus two separate outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun, with a lovely view of the mountains from the main terrace. It's an easy walking distance to nearby restaurants and supermarkets. It's a straightforward drive to free parking at Knossos (from where you can get a public bus to the Heraklion Museum) and we never had a problem getting a parking space near the apartment.
− The shower cubicle in the second bathroom is a little small. Worth noting that access to the larger sun terrace is through the main bedroom. Also, we noticed that if you want to use the third bedroom (which we didn't), it's not part of the main apartment - instead, it's a separate room on the other side of the landing at the top of the stairs. Anyone sleeping in there would have to have to have their own set of keys to go to the loo in the middle of the night.
