Prima Campsite auf dem Weg nach Khwai
9.0Schöne Campsite mit allem, was man braucht. Eigenes Häuschen mit Dusche, WC, Spülgelegenheit, sauber und funktionell. Sehr nettes Personal. Nicht umzäunt und wir hatten nachts tatsächlich Besuch einer Hyäne.

Just go .......its a superb stop off between Khwai and camps (Savuti / Chobe)
10.01. Each campsite has its own ablution unit (toilet / shower) plus washing up area / recharge station; (2) Mababe camp is unfenced. Wondeful animals stroll through the camp; (3) Shop seling al te basics plus steel putty and car accessories. (4) all the usual wifi and bar areas serving food / drinks etc while we watched game from the wonderful deck. Superb facilities. Pool was magical. (5) Special mention: Edward the resident "handyman" has a welder / tools and a winning smile. He helped me fix a few vehicle issues incl a small weld job.
− It was a surprise that we could not "self-drive" in the area. The Khwai is a community concession area and therefore youare obligated to use a lodge game vehicle. Plus, if the lodge vehicle is full, you cannot go to another lodge and hop on their vehicle. After so much independance in the previous week I found this "obligation" restrictive.

10.0Als Camper hatten wir einen ruhigen Platz mit eigenem Waschhaus. Wir durften das Haupthaus mit Pool, Terasse und Bar mitbenutzen. Die Lage ist unheimlich schön. Das Dinner auf der Terrasse war außergewöhnlich lecker mit großen Portionen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt

9.0Der Zeltplatz war sehr grosszügig. Das Essen im Restaurant vorzüglich.
− Leider kann man keine Selbstfahrer Game Drives machen. Als Hotel- oder Campinggast sollte das möglich sein. Schade.
