8.0I recently stayed at a homestay in Varkala and had a decent experience overall. The highlight was the homemade breakfast, which was fresh and tasty. The stay was simple and affordable, making it a good option for a short trip on a budget .Overall, it’s a budget-friendly stay with good food, but better suited for groups rather than small families
− However, since it is a homestay, comfort and privacy are limited. Other families were also staying in the same house, which can feel a bit uncomfortable, especially for those looking for privacy. Parking is also difficult and not very convenient. This place is more suitable for a one-day stay, especially if you are traveling with friends or a large family group. If a big family books the entire space (3 bedrooms and a hall), it works well. But for a small nuclear family, it may not be the best choice.
