Disgusting hotel that refuse to resolve any complaints

The only positive about this hotel was leaving it.

− Disgusting room, appalling service and absolutely no accountability My stay at this hotel was absolutely appalling, and the way my subsequent complaint was handled made an already terrible experience even worse. For just under £180 for two nights, I expected a reasonable standard of cleanliness and basic amenities. Instead, I was met with a filthy kettle covered in limescale, a stained chair, marks all over the walls and a severely damaged strip of flooring between the bedroom and bathroom, with the foam underneath exposed. The room was visibly tired, poorly maintained and frankly disgusting. To make matters worse, there were NO towels, hand towels or shower mat in the room when I arrived. I contacted the property shortly after checking in, only to wait almost 24 hours for two bath towels to eventually be provided. I had to chase them repeatedly, and even then, no hand towel or shower mat was supplied. There were also no tea bags or teaspoons. However, what really demonstrated the complete lack of care and professionalism was the way the hotel handled my complaint afterwards. I contacted the property directly and gave them every opportunity to resolve the matter fairly. Instead of actually addressing my concerns, I was repeatedly told that the issue was being investigated. They asked me to provide photographs, yet continued delaying their responses and stringing me along for over a month without offering any meaningful resolution. Eventually, I had to involve Booking.com myself because the hotel simply would not deal with the complaint properly. Booking.com then had to communicate with the property on my behalf, and the hotel ultimately refused to offer any refund or resolution whatsoever. At no point did the property take the initiative to contact me directly to explain its position or resolve the situation. The room was unacceptable, but the complete disregard for me as a paying customer afterwards was arguably even worse.

− The smell is pungent it actually made me feel sick. Drains in bathroom and a damp smell. Not clean cobwebs everywhere.., just grimy. It’s noisy you can hear footsteps up and down. Laundry man under stairs at 10pm at night. Delightful people that were staying there banging on the door at 3am obviously forgotten code or checking in and didn’t look for code. No staff there only in the day. I complained and they said they would clean the room next day but that when I was leaving. Never again and probably one of the worst places I’ve stayed in. Very upset!

− Nos dieron habitacion número 3. En los bajos de la casa. El olor a cloaca era insoportable imposible casi usar el baño del mal olor. No hay nadie en recepción. Tienen números de teléfono por si pasa algo por la noche. Teléfonos apagados. Contacte con booking para pedir un cambio de habitacion al viajar con una niña (para nosotros algo agrabante) nadie paso por la habitacion ni a revisar, ni limpiar ni contacto. He realizado dos reclamaciones a booking...pero parece ser que tampoco pueden hacer nada porque el alojamiento contesto que lo limpiarian. Cosa que no hicieron. Cuidado si reservas habitacion 3.
