Very disappointing stay-I would not recommend this property.

Good value for money and conveniently located close to my friend's house. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of the stay.

− The property was not clean enough. There was no bedding on the bed when we arrived, dirty towels were left on the floor, the bins were full of rubbish, and the shower head was not working properly. Overall, the experience was awful. I have never arrived at a hotel or accommodation that I had paid for and found it in such a poor condition. Good location, but the cleanliness and maintenance were completely unacceptable.

Convenient for where I needed to be for work

− Bedding wasn’t clean, shower leaked, electrical cable hanging down from ceiling and wires poking out of walls, didn’t look like the pictures. Property was left unlocked so anyone could get in and the key safe we were given was wrong (we texted the number given and we were given a new code so were able to get in)

The location was Wimbledon, just a five‑minute walk from South Wimbledon station, situated between Zones 3 and 4, so quite central. The house was clean and had BT Wi‑Fi with a 1 Mbps connection. It featured two bathrooms, one with a shower, and could comfortably accommodate a family of four (two adults and two children). Local shops included Sainsbury’s, Tesco opposite the tube station, a Morrisons superstore, and nearby Asian shops. There was no interference from the owner, which was a positive.

− It requires some repair work, the toaster is missing, and additional cleaning is needed.
