A great location and a warm welcome We had a pleasant stay at Skala Portview Sitia. As a self-catering apartment, it provided a comfortable base for exploring the beautiful area of Sitia. The location was excellent, with everything we needed close by and wonderful views and atmosphere right on the doorstep. It was the perfect spot for enjoying the town, harbour and local restaurants. The owner was absolutely wonderful — friendly, welcoming and always helpful, making us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. While the accommodation was simple, it offered everything needed for an enjoyable visit, and the fantastic location and warm hospitality made our stay a positive experience.

La facilité pour se garer gratuitement à proximité. La vue sur le port. La propreté du logement et la gentillesse de notre hôte. Pleins de gentilles attentions (fruits,eau,café, biscuits salés et sucrés, vin blanc). Appartement très calme malgré sa situation au dessus de restaurants car très bien insonorisé. Extrêmement bien placé par rapport au village, à la plage et aux restaurant avec un balcon ouvrant sur une vue magnifique. Le lit était très confortable également. Tout peu se faire à pieds.

− Peut-être juste l’escalier assez raide pour monter au 2ème étage. Sinon tout était vraiment parfait.

Perfect host, perfect location

The apartment is lovely with everything you need, a gorgeous view, and a very generous and helpful host. Very well kept and immaculately clean. I highly recommend this apartment for a visit to lovely Sitia. (Some late night music, sometimes traditional and sometimes modern, so you might want earplugs - but it all adds to the ambience and I enjoyed hearing it.)

Klein, aber fein. Alles toll eingerichtet, weitschweifender Blick vom Balkon, zu Fuß sofort in der Stadt.

− Allerdings sind bis zum Apartement 44 Stufen zu erklimmen.

Balcony view over the bay at “quieter” end below the Karmizan (Venetian Fortress) on the harbour level . The host gave us a very warm welcome , guidance and recommendations

The fantastic location, right on the harbor, with its many taverns. The beach is only a few minutes walk away. For two sunbeds with umbrella you pay 10 euros, which is charged with orders there. But the most extraordinary was our hostess Evita. On the day of our arrival, rather late in the evening, we were very warmly welcomed by her. In the fridge was wine and beer, as well as delicious pastries and fruits, thank you very much Evita. Thank you also for the many hint you have given us. You are a wonderful hostess and we would be happy to come back.
