Nice apartment for a family

The apartment is really nicely situated a few steps from the quiet part of Toroni. It’s on the second floor. It has a big front yard and very comfortable parking spaces. The apartment itself has all the necessary amenities (coffee makers, plates, cutlery, etc) for a smooth stay. The owners are extremely helpful and polite, ready to help with any problem.

− The absolute worst part of the stay was that all the mattresses are really old and/or hard and very uncomfortable. That made our stay definitely a lot less comfortable.

We were extremely disappointed by the host.

Below are some details that we would have ignored if the host had been polite and behaved normally and civilized. 1. There were not two double beds in the bedrooms (as the Booking description). There was a double bed, and two simple beds of different heights. 2. When the sofa was extended, not even a child could sit on it because it sagged. 3. There was only one roll of toilet paper for 6 persons for 5 days. We are not sure if our situation was an exception, but we do not recommend this accommodation!!!!

− We were extremely disappointed by the host. Her attitude was not polite, was aggressive and was not at all a good (not even a typical) host. She ruined our vacation, following us on the camera and threatening us repeatedly. I mention that we did not meet face to face (she refused to meet us), we talked on the phone only once at the beginning, and she gave us Whatsapp messages repeatedly all days and during the night. She told booking that we do not answer e-mails or messages on Booking, but she gave us the same messages on WhatsApp, and we responded there considering this is an easier way to communicate. 1. First mistake was ours and we assumed it. When we reserved, we did not mention that we have four more small children. On the first night, after the middle of the night she asked us by WhatsApp to pay an extra 600 euros, or four persons to leave. In the morning, we choose the four of us to leave. 2. After they left, she continued to stress us with messages, asking us to tell her where we reserved the accommodation (arguing that Booking asked her). 3. She asked us twice also by Whatsapp messages to be quiet, as long as we were mostly on the beach, and in the apartment we tried to keep quiet not because of her requests, but to respect the other neighborhoods. Also, she threatened us with authorities. 4. There is a camera outside, on the top of the entrance door (the only camera in the building), and we suppose she followed us daily. She asked that the family that left to not return in the apartment (to eat together) and we respected her request, even if we think that this was not illegal. 5. She asked us again by message, at 22:05 to give her photos of the IDs of the adults that remained in the apartment, motivating that she needed this for the accountant. We polite refused, and she was offended, accusing us that she was expecting us to cause damage. 6.She asked us again on the last day for the photos of our IDs. 7. I felt stressed every time the phone rang.
