Great location, terrible drainage, comfy beds and great view

Location was great. Easy access into town and out to the ski fields. Quiet location and good parking, easy to store skis etc in laundry

− Unfortunately the drainage really needs to be sorted. The bath was disgusting after each shower as the drain would not let anything down it. I had to clean the bath twice while I was there as it clogged up with everyone's hair and dirty water. For the price we were paying this is something that should be addressed before another person stays there- the drains are clearly blocked. The same happened with the dishwasher and twice I has to restart it as the water didn't drain so the drainage issue is clearly quite major and needs sorting. If I owned the property I would be getting plumbers around before letting others stay. For the price we were paying each night I was really surprised that there was no tea and coffee or oils or salt for cooking etc. We have stayed at a number of places in Wanaka now and this has been the only place not to provide additional things like this. The second night we stayed the apartment below was very loud and kept their bathroom fan on most of the night which was noisy and disturbed our sleep. So maybe letting the apartment below know that the apartment above can hear things like that and be mindful to keep fans off after 10pm. The stairs were not highlighted till check-in- I'm glad we were all able bodied but the stairs are a huge risk with suit cases and bags in the winter. Maybe highlighting that could be a good thing prior to booking,

Warm modern property, good heating, very comfy beds, very quiet location

− Some basic elements that you would expect to find in a hotel or AirBnB were missing, which was inconvenient for travellers arriving at night and short of time. Would recommend host adds these in future, for minimal cost, and much improved guest experience. For example, there were no shower gel or shampoo provided in the bathrooms. Also no tea, coffee or sugar, despite there being an excellent coffee machine in the kitchen. Having to go without these items for first 24hrs until we could next conveniently make it to a shop was an unnecessary annoyance. Other than that, the place was excellent.

Perfect stay for a ski trip

Very clean and modern. Spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. Perfect mountain views from the living area on a clear day. Location is great for walking to restaurants and shops. Ample parking space. Easy access for roads to Cardona or Treble Cone if you are skiing.

− Pillows were a bit too puffy, causing some overnight sore necks.

Great location. Perfect for teenagers with plenty of space to sack out. Well appointed. Works beautifully.

− Minor issues: Needs a pair of scissors. Most food packets require them. Bedroom doors need WD40 (they squeak) If the laundry had some heating ability you wouldn’t need to dry clothes/boots in the house.

Lovely apartment, couple minutes walk from town. Didnt have any interaction with anyone, but the lockbox worked fine.

− We stayed downstairs, we could sometimes hear the people walking around upstairs. Think there were possibly kids up there.
