Property is amazing, location beautiful, beds are 10 out of 10, the only thing is a cleanliness of property, good clean
8.0Location is amazing, the beds were absolutely great and the house was great. The cleanliness on the other side was poor
− Cleanliness, everything is just top cleaned. Baby was crawling around and found piece of glass, which thankfully was got in time, just loads of places where deep clean is more than needed, but apart from that the property was amazing
Pleasant but wouldn’t return
6.0The property had a lovely terrace with a pleasant sea view, even though it was partially obscured. The downstairs rooms were spacious and comfortable, while the upstairs rooms had lower ceilings, which is worth noting if you’re tall. The living area was a real highlight, with full-width windows that made it feel bright, airy, and perfect for relaxing. - big fridge / freezer with a separate wine fridge and was equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. - the access instructions were clear and easy to use. - the village is a quaint little village with not a lot going on but the location is great for the train I.e commuting to Edinburgh
− Unfortunately, we were disappointed by several aspects of our stay. The biggest issue was the cleanliness, as the property did not feel as though it had been properly prepared for our arrival. The twin bedroom didn’t look properly made up. There was dust in most rooms, long dark hairs on the floors and even on the bedding, and we found rubbish left in the wardrobes, including used toothpicks. The extractor fan in the downstairs bathroom was also heavily covered in dust. There was no welcome pack or useful local information, such as taxi numbers or recommendations for the area, which would have been appreciated. We also found no dishwasher tablets, only washing machine tablets, and many of the plates, glasses and crockery were still dirty from previous guests, meaning we had to buy dishwasher tablets and wash everything before using it. The upstairs layout should also be described more clearly in the listing. The ceiling height is around 6 feet at its highest point, with heavily sloping ceilings that make much of the space difficult to stand up in, particularly in the bathroom. The upstairs bathroom only has a bath with a handheld shower attachment, so the property effectively has just one proper shower. Access to the top floor is via a shallow staircase, which could be challenging or unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. We also experienced problems closing the windows in the front bedroom and bathroom. The TV was another disappointment. There were no terrestrial channels available, and the TV relied on a Wi-Fi connection for streaming services. Unfortunately, the connection to the TV repeatedly dropped, making it frustrating and difficult to watch anything reliably. Finally, parking is limited, with only one allocated space for a property that sleeps six people. Our allocated space was occupied when we arrived, although we were fortunately able to find parking elsewhere on the same street.

10.0We had a two night stay at Seaside Place we loved it. Great communication from the host. We had a welcome pack for us upon arrival with some prosecco and shortbread and crisps, a lovey touch! :) The property has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break, so we'll equipped. The beds are super comfy! The terrace is a great place to relax, very spacious, peaceful, great views of the surrounding area You can hear the shore from black sands beach lovely. You can tell how much thought and love has been put into this home from home. Thanks again, we'd love to come back.
