Absolutely loved Azure Villa. Ioanna the host really went above and beyond to meet our needs in terns of flexibility of check in/out and also met us to take us from the square to the villa and organised a boat trip for us - she was incredibly efficient and helpful. The Villa itself is in one of the best locations on the entire island, the views from the upstairs bedroom balconies i dont believe you can beat! Its the kind of place you just want to sit and take in the incredible views. The house itself is large with 4 good sized bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms, and the kitchen was well equipped though we did not cook there. The decor is traditional and has a really quirky and historic feel. Its a good 40 min walk to Fira but its a stunning walk. There are also lots of bars an restaurants and shops around the property.

− The 2 upstairs rooms have incredible views and terraces, but the 2 larger bedrooms downstairs do not have natural light as they are typical of Santorini houses built into the cliffs. This was fine for us but if you had 4 couples you would need to draw straws! The stairs are fairly steep for someone with mobility issues.

Great location and property. Needs a little TLC and consideration by property owners/ managers.

Location , property layout and decor

− Poor WiFi, shower head bust in the main bedroom, a/c not working in one guest bedroom and no cleaning done post sand storm covering all outdoor spaces making it unable to sit on chairs and use table. All other properties were cleaned very next day by property owners / managers.

What a wonderful place! I think this was one of the most accommodating vacation hosts I've ever experienced. Extremely helpful with adjusting check in and check out times with our schedule. The bell hop was a life saver getting the luggage to and from our place. The views and location were perfect. Our entire group was so happy we picked this place

The most AMAZING view!!

Ioanna, our host, met us at the property to give us the keys and a run down of the house. This was great. She was lovely and extremely helpful, organised a private 4 hour tour for the 8 of us around the island. This property was perfect for us. Very large, lots of space. Slippers for each guest was a nice bonus. Good kitchen for our needs, nice roomy dining/living area. But the view..... OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Absolutely stunning!!! We spent a lot of time just sitting and looking at it. We witnessed two spectacular sunsets from our deck. Extremely close to Skaros Rock, which we walked up and around to a church with another spectacular view. Nice 40 ish minute walk back from Fira, so handy location. We really couldn't say nicer things about this place. Thank you :)

− No plug in the kitchen sink, so washing the dishes was an adventure! Also, we could not find a light or controls to work the fan above the cooking area.

We would all re-book in a heartbeat! Stunning and Amazing.

The location was absolutely perfect. It was easy to get to from the square and had stunning views of the Caldera and sunsets. Fabulous restaraunts within 10 min walk. Spacious layout with 8 adults finding privacy when needed, but could easily congregate and eat and visit. The host was amazing at arranging various excursions and was very responsive and friendly.

− The cooking pans were limited and in very used shape. No toaster on the property. But that is the only thing we found we would have liked differently.

The view was fantastic. The staff was helpful.

− This is not a 4 star rental. Hence the low overall rating. Ants, hair, outdated, and broken down. Trash cans broke. Patio furniture shot. One AC remote not operational. Beds packed against wall on 3 of 4 beds make it impossible to access. Shower floor base -yuch. 4 wine glasses for a villa is nonsense. Owner can put a few bucks into this joint to make it a 4 star. Over priced as it is. Don't stay here.
