9.0The house was immaculate, and well-outfitted with everything we could reasonably want: laundry, cooking, cleaning, even kayaks were present. I enjoyed the clean, comfortable wide plank floors and tasteful decor. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. Our party of six was comfortable in the four bedrooms with 2 & 1/2 baths. There were plenty of color coordinated thick towels. Ceiling fans and a good air-conditioning system kept us comfortable. We even plugged in a car with an outside electrical outlet, for a little overnight plus-up charge. The people in the surrounding town were friendly and welcoming, with a variety of restaurants for eating out or take-out. The views across the lake from the house were calming, and the lake view patio was a great place to hang out or dine. There was a long table inside for our extended family, plus a smaller table in the kitchen that we did not use.
− While the bathrooms were beautifully finished, one of our party complained about the layouts being difficult. Upon our arrival, the screen doors had been previously damaged. I understand it is difficult to keep up with damage from renters. The interior seemed perfect though.
Excellent house, very peaceful and in a location where it's easy to get to areas in CT.
