10.0Warm and friendly ancient farm that hosts guests excellently. Luxurious rooms, excellent breakfasts made from local ingredients, beautiful views and the farm family’s everyday activities — all this creates a special feeling and adds a little to the understanding of South Tyrol and its people.
Idyllic, quiet countryside stay
10.0Believe all the reviews you read, because this place is truly exceptional. Helga is an incredible host and will make sure every one of your needs is met. The location is spectacular and close (within an hour) to many of the major trails and scenic sites. You are nestled on a quiet private drive but the larger town center is about 5 minutes down the road. The rooms are newly hand-renovated(!) by Helga and her family. Daily breakfast is included and is a delicious spread prepared by Helga and includes produce from her small orchard on the property, eggs from her chickens and other locally sourced goods. Parking is also readily available directly adjacent to the property. If you are mobility-limited, there are rooms located on the first floor without steps. A particular bonus (for animal lovers) are the farm animals present on site - cows, chickens, a friendly dog, and a duck who loves bread! This stay allowed us the peace and solitude we were hoping for with easy access to all the hiking trails and scenic spots we were hoping to find. Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed!
− Not surprisingly, there are some flies present during our stay during the summer, but not overwhelming or bothersome. Window screens would likely help improve the presence indoors.
