10.0We rented the house for 2 nights for a family birthday. The house exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful house with great character and history behind it. Freida the owner was so generous to have left baked treats for our stay to enjoy! The gardens around the property are amazing and have lovely walks to them! The tennis court was great. There were rackets and tennis balls in the house for use. Everything about the stay was just 10/10.
− It was a little tricky to find the property. The eircode sent us to the second entrance of the house which is closed off.
Great property, needs some polishing mechanically and in terms of services provided to tenants.
7.0Mount Trenchard is a very cool property. The home is so interesting with amazing history and character.
− The people managing the property couldn't be nicer. The house mechanicals could use some fine tuning as we lacked heat and water for a bit, but that was corrected within a day or so.

Whether you're planning a group event, a business trip, or a relaxing getaway, this property delivers on space, comfort, and tranquility. Highly recommended!
− The property is peaceful and spacious, but some areas—like the basement kitchen and bathrooms—could use updates. A dishwasher and functioning bathroom locks would greatly improve convenience. With these enhancements, the stay could be much more comfortable.

8.0Friendly host, keen to address to any of our needs. Lovely property with a walled garden, tennis court, and great space to walk and explore. Beautiful building with great history. We loved her homebaked goods for breakfast, very generous and kind of her. Good place for big number groups or a family reunion.
− A few housekeeping issues and bathroom windows need curtains for privacy, and the bathroom doors will need maintenance attending. The host was very good and open to our reviews to sort out the issues for future guests. 250 years old building with charecter, don't expect ensuite bathrooms/toilets. We aren't disappointed as the experience spending the time at the house was very good with our friends.
