Excellent hosts, spacious apartment with relaxing views of stunning Croatia.
8.0Excellent, friendly, helpful communication with hosts. When we mentioned the wasps nest on our balcony: they were there the next morning to remove it. When we mentioned the broken toaster: they replaced it. The requirement for paying the balance with cash on arrival had been lost in translation and they were very patient as it took us a few days to collect cash from the ATMs. They helped us with booking excursions. They gave us clean linen halfway through our stay. Stunning views from the apartment. Spacious facilities for 5 - great to have the extra toilet and shower. Lovely to have the choice of 2 pools. Make sure you visit the honey/oil seller 50m from the apartment - very friendly, great, affordable gifts to take home. The local beaches are beautiful - we always used the car to visit the variety available, so we did not experience the steep walk home.
− The wasps around the pool were stressful - but what can be done? If you know the solution - bring it with you :-) The listing suggested that the washing machine was in the apartment - actually there are 2 machines shared between the 2 apartment blocks in a separate laundry room. This requires a bit of organisation to be up early and use the machines when they are free. A few little repairs are needed around the apartment and slightly better kitchen utensils (sharper knives etc) would elevate the experience
