10.0Wir sind schon in sehr vielen Unterkünften auf der Welt gewesen. Aber hier haben wir uns richtig wohl und sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben fast geweint, als wir wieder fahren mussten. Die Familie ist so lieb und unglaublich gastfreundlich, dass wir uns wie kleine Könige gefühlt haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und bleiben einfach den ganzen Urlaub lang an diesem Ort. Ganz großes Dankeschön!
We felt like part of the family
10.0The most fabulous place to stay in Bankrut! The hosts could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and looked after, from pick up to/from the train station and daily fruit treats from grandma, we loved our stay here and were so so sad to leave. Our bungalow was very comfortable and had everything we needed - big bed, two fans, a fridge, toaster, lovely shower - there’s even a communal kitchen. We used the paid laundry service on site which was super quick and convenient. Location was great and in our opinion Bankrut is a hidden gem, not just a stopover on the train line - a few minutes walk one way to an long sandy beach (stunning at sunrise) or the other way to the bustling morning market. There are simple, affordable and absolutely delicious roadside restaurants for evening meals. We were also able to rent bicycles to explore the nearby coconut groves and the beautiful hill temple Wat Thang Sai from which you can see all along the coast and over Myanmar. We would wholeheartedly recommend Wandee and we would love to return again soon!
