5.0The host was extremely helpful when we had difficulty getting into the property, and again when we needed help calling a cab. The place was very clean and well-equipped. Very pretty wooded area.
− Despite the helpful host, the property was confusing to get into, and confusing for cab drivers to find. Apparently the property was a former hostel or school, and the address, even in Japanese, confused the cab drivers. We don't speak Japanese and it was too far to walk into town, so we relied on cabs, but could not call one directly. The host was helpful, but that had to be done via email. The property was clean and well-equipped, but it would have been good to see more pictures so we knew what to expect (huge communal bathrooms, many locked bedroom doors). Even our tech savvy family members could not get the TV to work.
Nice accommodation which can cater big family members
8.0Very spacious living hall and kitchen, which is good when travel with family. You can enjoy the indoor hotspring with family members. Ample parking space with free wifi. It is near to Takachiho Gorge and Amaterasu Railway.
− It is too quiet as you need to drive up a slope in order to reach the house. At night need to keep all the windows and doors closed to present insects from coming inside.
