Amazing views!
9.0The property was very spacious and spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed gazing at the mountains! It was great to be away from the craziness of downtown Queenstown. Shops are a short drive away and the area is very quiet and private.
− There is aircon in the loungeroom, but no cooling upstairs where the bedrooms are. It was quite warm while we were there. Opening the windows helped, but that meant we couldn’t have the blinds down. Both bathrooms are upstairs, as is the laundry.

Beautiful modern well maintained house
10.0The place is modern & well equipped.
− Both bathrooms are at 2nd floor & so the guests staying downstairs need to go upstairs to use the toilet

An enjoyable stay, but sullied by the host's attitude.
5.0Its location with the Remarkables in the backdrop and the easily accessible and fun playgrounds for children in the area.
− Kat, the host, was inconsiderate and arrogant. She assumed and accused us of taking their "two large green towels" from the house when they were not provided to us in the beginning. We explained to her numerous times that we had checked with my family and our bags several times and there were NOT any "two large green towels" in the house and in our bags. Our son also had told us several times that he did NOT see any towels in his upstairs room and hence he asked us if he could use our towels on the first day of arrival. We were not bothered because there were 4 large blue towels in the house, three blue/green (turquoise) smaller towels and two blue small towels in the house. We did not expect this allegation to occur. We were in Wanaka when she messaged me at about 2.30pm, and our flight back to Auckland from Queenstown was at 8.25pm. We would have taken them back to the house if we had taken them accidentally. The tone that she used was unfriendly and accusatory. It was disruptive souring our final part of our trip to Queenstown unnecessarily. Has it ever occurred to her that she could've forgotten about providing the "two large green towels" to us in the beginning? Furthermore, there was only one toilet roll in each of the two bathrooms without spare ones for 4 people for a 4 nights stay. We were told to get our own supply if they were finished. It was a short trip. Why would we bring toilet rolls from Auckland or even buy extras in Queenstown and bring leftovers back to Auckland for? Everyone's physiology is different and sometimes toilet paper (not towels) is used to clean up floors. This was the first time that occurred to us after having had stayed in many homes and hotels booked through Airbnb and Booking.com. Initially we were not bothered by it and went with the flow, as it was an inconsequential matter. I brought it up now, because we are very annoyed by this towel allegation and the host's attitude.
