− They scammed and said u have only one booking with 2 person, But i have clearly booked for 4 person

− To start, we were here only to buy sarees at Jayalakshmi saree center within one day. To achieve this, we want the nearest hotel or for that matter any affordable place from the railway station. We read (bad) reviews on google maps of this property. We want to give it a try to check the situation and that's the start of the mistakes. The reception person is so dumb that he made us wait for 20 min in the morning just to give the keys to the rooms. We tried very hard to educate him that , we will need the room for one day only. But his half baked understanding of Hindi made him write 7pm checkout in the evening(even after we told the timing of the train in the morning ). He reports directly to his owner so mind it that there is 100% communication gap between him and the Reception person. We later realised this when we got a call from the owner for the checkout. Mind you, when the person talks too much sweetly without even knowing you, he or she may have a hidden agenda. The receptionist is that person . Logically if a person checks in early, he has enough duration for the early checkout. We were planning for the earliest checkout of 8pm. But the half knowledge hindi speaking reception person writes 7 pm time in the register and had the audacity to knock the room door at 7.30pm. he started demanding extra money for late checkout (according to him). We were forced to evacuate the room because we don't have enough time to educate him and his owner due to train timing. The whole experience is ruined by this property owner. Believe me, i made so much effort in writing this long review to actually stop you from coming to this place. Don't ruin your experience of Udupi. Just spend more money and stay at a better property. I am attaching the "5 ⭐" room photos of this property. Avoid this place at any cost just for less budget.
