Killiecrankie cabin
9.0We just left the city after 2 days and this was a great retreat! Beautiful, clean and comfortable
Beautiful location, cosy and authentic log cabin.

− If it had a log burner would book in the winter months
Gorgeous little get away
9.0The lodge was in a lovely area, it felt very peaceful and wholesome. There were lovely views, lovely places to walk to and lovely animals to see. The lodge itself was very cozy, the double bed was very comfortable and the linens were very soft and fresh. There was a good amount of heaters installed which was great to have throughout the lodge. We loved being able to have the car right next to the property, it felt very safe and secluded. Overall, we had a lovely, wholesome stay. The host was only a message away if you needed her which gives you that little bit of security as you are quite far out.
− Overall our stay was absolutely lovely. However, granted the lodge is in the middle of fields I feel like the cobwebs/spiders could be somewhat controlled. A little dust between guests would make the world of a difference. The kettle could do with getting cleaned or replaced. We couldn’t make a coffee in the morning due to the limescale floating around. A little updating/cleaning the kitchen appliances would’ve really made a difference to us!
Best place ever! A real taste of the Scotland Highlands....
9.0If you want a real Highlands experience, this is the place... cozy, well appointed, quiet and tranquill. Wish we could have stayed longer.

9.0Lovely peaceful location
So much going for it - gorgeous living area, just a pity about the firm mattresses!
7.0This was a gorgeous little lodge in a beautiful area - the living area, and bedrooms are beautifully set out, and once we got the electric heaters on it was lovely and cosy and comfy. Double room bed was lovely, soft springy and comfy (sadly couldnt say this about the twin beds!)
− The mattresses in the twin room were so firm I hardly slept - and also (in the twin room) being a bit uneasy about spiders I was horrified when shortly before heading for bed I noticed LOTS of thick webbing directly behind the bed head! But glad that these things could be easily remedied though with a topper or new matteress, and a 5 minute dust. The kettle also looks like its been around for a long time and very stained (so I boiled my water in a pan) for my morning cuppa!
