Great apartment, but poor communication from property managers

The location and view are hard to beat, as the apartment faces the ocean and is steps away from many shops and restaurants. It’s a good size, has good kitchen and laundry facilities, and was clean. It’s great having two bathrooms. They were able to offer a later check out upon request, which was appreciated.

− There was no body wash (just a couple of small bars of soap), shampoo or conditioner, which was annoying. Unfortunately, I found the property managers to be disorganised, and it’s a pain to have to pick the keys up from off-site (and then you have to return them to the same place when you leave). We were arriving after hours (the office is only open until 4pm for key pick-up), and it took one message plus FOUR phone calls to get the access code to the lock box to get the key. I messaged the day before to let them know our arrival time and was told that I’d have to speak to them on the phone to give them my credit card details before they would release the key. So I called the next day, and my booking wasn’t coming up in the system, so they had to call me back. Then they told me I would receive an email with all the details to get in to the apartment. I waited a couple of hours and the email hadn’t arrived, so I called again only to be told not to worry as it would probably come soon. It still hadn’t come by the time we arrived at the office, so I had to call yet again to ask for the code, which they finally texted to me. I never received the email (and yes, they had the correct address). It really shouldn’t be that hard!

Location good, excellant ocean views and close proximity (eight levels above) to all types of restaurants, and supermarket Interior of apartment spacious,

− Nothing to do with apartment, but seemed to be motorbike meets each night in the carpark opposite very noisy from 3-10pm
