Convenient location but disappointing accommodation.

− It is advertised as two double bedrooms and one twin. One double was as expected, the second double was cramped and not really suitable for a double bed. No drawer space as not enough room.

8.0A great house in a really good location. Very convenient. Clean and comfortable.
− The towels were very small so some bigger ones would be an improvement. We have stayed in this house before in 2024 and it is showing a bit of wear and tear now. Just some repainting/decoration would definitely be well spent. We did enjoy it and would stay again and recommend.

6.0There's a lot to like about this property, its location being one. It's bright and cheerful, with the ground-source heat pump keeping it warm. The double room on the top floor has an ensuite electric shower and a loo; there's a bath and loo on the first floor and a loo off the kitchen. Having a dishwasher is also a plus.
− The crockery, glassware and cutlery is a mixed bag of incomplete sets. Several pieces of crockery were chipped. Three mugs had coffee/tea residue, so hadn't been properly cleaned. I filled the dishwasher with the items we would use throughout our stay and kept them separate. The living room on the first floor is okay, with windows for brightness. The furniture is tired and not very comfortable. The TV is old, without USB/USBC connection. The signal to the tv is poor - it was impossible to watch anything thing from start to finish. The channels are freestat, so no streaming or catchup. A smart TV is needed with broadband (available in the area through fibre or cable). We were surprised by the poor quality and worn bedding. Nylon, pilled quilt cover and pillows filled with chunks of foam were very uncomfortable and unpleasant. The towels were poor, being very thin and small.
