A total disaster
1.0Nothing, everything they show you in the photos is a lie. I really don't recommend it.
− Review: A Total Disaster - Avoid at All Costs Rating: 0/5 stars I'm at a loss for words to describe the horrific experience I had at this place. From the moment I arrived, I knew something was terribly wrong. The surroundings are desolate and empty, with no tourists or life whatsoever. Nighttime is even worse, with total darkness and no security. There are no lights in the area, making you feel vulnerable and scared. The accommodation itself is a disaster. The bed was a mess, with dirty sheets and a stench of filth. Cleaning is nonexistent, with trash and dust everywhere. But that's not all - they also promised a bonfire that never materialized. The kitchen is a disaster, with dirty utensils and an atmosphere of abandonment. I tried to venture out to find nearby restaurants, but there aren't any available. None! It's like being in a ghost town. Seriously, this has been the worst experience I've ever had at a place. I strongly advise against risking a visit here. It's a complete disaster. Problems: - Desolate and empty surroundings - Lack of security at night - Poor bed and cleaning conditions - Dirty and abandoned kitchen - Lack of nearby restaurants - Unfulfilled promises (bonfire) Recommendation: Avoid at all costs. Look for another place to avoid this horrific experience.
Good for resting far from crowd
8.0Host was friendly and helpful. Nice view to the mountains. Comfy terrace. The room was clean. Bathroom is big and good arranged. You can walk to Batur mountain directly from this location.
− It's a bit far to everywhere. May have trouble to move from this location if you don't have scooter rented. There are also many flies around that are hard to avoid.

9.0The cleanliness, privacy, quiet, scenery, staff, value for money The location is 15mins away from the start of Mt Batur hike and the lake. 10mins walk to the closest restaurants/cafes
