10.0The accommodation is well laid out with every detail well thought through. High quality facilities and styling of the cottage is beautiful and easy to love in for a weekend. We loved the complimentary farm bread, butter, milk and ice. The hosting was warm and welcoming.
− The campsite is a bit closer than we had imagined but it was quiet early evening and really didn’t affect our stay.

10.0Melkhout River Cottage is a beautiful cottage, fully furnished with best quality appliances and luxuries for a comfortable stay. It is peaceful, quiet and serene. Hot tub on the front deck facing the river will provide hours of fun.
We felt at home and left refreshed - will defintely visit again!
9.0It was roomy, airy, spotlessly clean and clearly well cared. Well styled, very well equipped and felt like a home away from home. The deck is lovely, looking out on the river and you could extend it further by opening the sliding doors - braais inside and out. One bedroom has a small deck with a fabulous view over the Langeberg mountains. The hosts have really gone over and above the call of duty to make the stay memorable like leaving farm milk and butter in the fridge, fresh bread waiting on the counter and the fans already running to create a cool haven upon arrival.
