La casa es molt gran i còmode. Hi ha un espai sota vidre amb la taula per menjar molt acollidor i està ple de jocs de taula, ideal per una tarda de pluja i mal temps. Hi ha calefacció a totes les habitacions, cosa que s'agraeix i els llits són molt còmodes. La granja del costat no feia gens de pudor. Hi tornariem a anar sense cap mena de dubte!

A gem of a house outside Galway.

This is a several generations old family farmhouse. Don't let "old" fool you. It's updated and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. The dining table in the conservatory was perfect for sharing meals and games played late into the evening. We greatly appreciated the use of the washing machine! The location was perfect for visiting Galway. Though no public transportation comes out that far, it's only about a 25 minute drive into the city with plenty of parking. There is an excellent grocery store and restaurants in Athenry, just 10 minutes away. Oh, you have to eat at the Golf Club while you're there. Very friendly service. The food comes out fast and it's quite good. We were glad to finally meet the owner, Noel Kelly, after a few months of messaging via the booking dot com app. He grew up in that house and knows the area like the back of his hand. He's got great recommendations for restaurants and is helpful if you find you need something additional at the house... like an extension cord. :-). We couldn't have asked for better hosts!

− Bedside tables would be helpful but we made do with folding chairs we found in the kitchen. We also didn't like that we only stayed there for 3 nights. Really, we should have stayed at least a week.

Der Wintergarten war echt schön. Der Holzofen hat seinen Charm. Die Lage war schön ruhig. Es war alles da. Fön für jeden. Adapter für die Steckdosen. Genug Handtücher, Seife, Toilettenpapier. Holz für den Ofen. In der Küche war auch alles vorhanden. Selbst Notfallprodukte wie Zahnbürste waren vorhanden. Einfach toll und wirklich sehr sauber.

− Eine Dusche hat nicht funktioniert. Aber wir kamen auch nicht unbedingt mit der Elektrodusche da. Jede Steckdose und jedes Gerät mit einem Schalter. Das ist für einen Deutschen mehr als ungewohnt.

Beautiful, relaxing setting in the countryside. Warm. Comfortable beds and great pressure and temperature showers.
