Lovely apartment, close to the beach.

− Seagulls waking me up every morning. Would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Great location, ok flat

Great location, very handy for shops, cafes and beach front. We had no trouble with parking as was fairly quiet in March. The flat was basic, but clean and had what we needed.

− There are lots of stairs which is tricky with luggage. Bring earplugs as the seagulls right outside the windows are relentless from 5.30am. Sofa bed is not really fit for purpose but main bed was very comfy They actually take £80 deposit from your bank, and kept for 7 days even though we only stayed for 3 nights. I understand taking card details but have never had any accommodation actually take the money. I don't understand why it was kept for so long and it could be an issue if on a budget. This would certainly stop me from booking again

The agent who deals with the property was responsive and nice when I contacted them on each day of my stay.

− I would have had a better holiday if the boiler was responsive and there was a nice shower. Other worthwhile investments- check that the kitchen is stocked for use, that all kitchen items can be used, invest in better quality sofas and mattress, and consider allowing guests to access under window space for storage. Don’t put stuff behind the bed in black bags, it’s a bit disconcerting. Try to see things from a guests point of view. Get rid of broken things or fix them. Gaffer tape isn’t a great look. There are people who can fix the tiles and regrout for you. How about attractive hooks instead of the plastic rail? And something seaside themed on the low beams instead of the warning signs? Can you get the hoover put away behind the bed, and the mop bucket on top of the boiler? This is such a sweet, fun, sunny property - it feels unloved and unappreciated.
