Nous avons apprécié avant tout la gentillesse de Fatima. Ensuite, l'authenticité des lieux. La possibilité de pouvoir dîner sur place est très agréable. Fatima propose étalement des paniers petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont climatisées et propres. C'est une très belle expérience.

What an incredible experience - i felt like I was coming home to my Nubian family!! Fatima looked after me so well with delicious breakfasts and dinner, and Mohammed became my driver for the entire time I was in Aswan, like my auntie and uncle! In addition, the place is an explosion of colour and happiness, perfect for an artist like me. Its a bit more of a local spot which makes it more peaceful also, I didn't want to leave. You will love it, trust me <3

Fatima and Muhammad are excellent host and eager to help with everything! We arrived late at night and Muhammad came to pick us up at a very reasonable cost. They organise tour to Philae also at a very reasonable cost and very smooth trip without the need to negotiate the boat. The breakfast is very good , typical Egyptian food.

Très bon accueil des propriétaires dans ce petit hôtel joliment décoré et coloré, un peu à l'écart de la ville d'Assouan mais pour une nuit entre deux vols agréable pause.

Wonderful, authentic, very inexpensive Nubian guest-house

This is an absolutely beautiful, clean, quiet place run by lovely people. If you are looking for a quiet, authentic Nubian stay, this is it. It is not far from the airport (15 minutes), and we used their taxi service (reasonable price). It is not far from Philae Island, so we arranged the Philae island visit through them (also reasonable). They make you feel at home immediately, with a welcome tea. Fatima makes an excellent (huge) breakfast with fantastic juices. We had dinner there 1 night (delicious, good price, and huge). The Nubian bathrooms take getting used to (maybe ask for an extra towel/bathmat to put right outside the bathroom). It is a minor inconvenience, considering the quality of the rest of our stay. Come here if you would like a real Nubian experience in a beautifully decorated place with great food, kind hosts, and quiet at night, at such a good price.

− There is no wifi (not a problem for us). It might not be for a longer stay for some people, as the Nubian village is separate from the town. It was close to the main road (unlike other places in the Nubian village), so no need to drive long on difficult paths.
