The property was a great size for what we needed

− There was no hot water it took almost a day to sort and all it was was to turn the thermostat up which looks like it’s for the central heating! Good job it was 38 degrees outside so cold showers were bearable

Very spacious - plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Lovely garden and hot tub.

The location was great and the house was very clean, great for a mixed of adults and children.

Not applicable as self catering

− Instructions on how the water heater works for hot water as nothing in the house. Hot water not enough for a house full (ie 8 double bedrooms= 14 plus people and not enough hot water each morning for this. Lack of garden chairs as large table but only 8 chairs as others broken/missing. Patio needed a jet wash as very dirty slabs. no line to dry towels after using the hot tub. No oven glove. Front first floor bedroom the floor was a tad spongy in places. The house is great for a family/large group but just needs that little bit attention in places. Maybe a washing machine as using the hot tub and clothes needed to be washed due to chlorine and being on the beach.

There was a lot of space and even though there was 14 people staying at the property you didn’t feel on top of each other.

− The lounge on the middle floor felt weird so we barely used it and was mainly socialising in the kitchen and dining room.

The PERFECT place to stay at with a big group!

This is an incredible place to stay at with a big group! I’d say better for adults as the stairs are not ideal for children. But with our group (we’re in our 20s-30s) it was perfect! All the rooms are great, clean, and presentable. The kitchen was big and spacious - it took some time for us to figure out how to work the hob and oven as it’s like an industrial one, but no issues! Lounge/living area was amazing - plenty of space and perfect for our group of 13 people to have games night! The dining area was also lovely. Before we arrived, I already had a vision of how I could make a beautiful table set up as we stayed to celebrate my birthday. Lots of bathrooms and en-suite, so your group will not have issues sharing/waiting for toilets to be free. The hot tub was also fabulous. Some notes - the room with a stand-alone bath and shower have no sockets, but I knew this from the other reviews so I was prepared and used the sockets in the hallway + other rooms. The hot water takes time to reset and heat up in the mornings as some people in our group had to have a cold shower, which isn’t ideal but I did communicate this with Jamie and he was very responsive. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here. I 100% recommend. The location was amazing, less than 5 mins walk to the beach and the little shops and arcade.

− The floors could be cleaner/mopped more? Our socks were filthy by the end of day! But this is not a major issue at all.
