Nice host but renovation is overdue in the apartment
6.0The host was nice and helpful The apartment is located in the very center of the old town, and is spacious.
− The property is massively run down. Many facilities like the kettle, oven and fridge need replacement. There are black stains on the mirrors in the bathroom which possibly don't mean that they're dirty, just old. The sheet on the big bed need replacement as it formed pilling and had unpleasant odor. On my arrival the property had a variety of unpleasant smells which subsided in a day. The location itself is a bit noisy not just because of the repairs in a neighboring apartment but also because of the bars and cafes in the close vicinity hosting events till 12am. I got a dozen of mosquito bites on the first day of my stay so a mosquito repellent is a must. For the sake of fairness, it's a problem not only of the property but the town in general. Eventually I left the apartment and the town after 3 nights although booked a 5 night stay. I can't comprehend how the property got a rate of 9+.
