10.0Das einsam gelegene Herrenhaus lässt noch erahnen, wie der deutschbaltische Landadel hier früher lebte. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll mit schönen Antiquitäten eingerichtet. Die herzliche Gastgeberin kann viel zur Geschichte des Herrenhauses und zu Kuldīga erzählen. Auf jeden Fall einen Aufenthalt wert und auch guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in das gesamte Kurland. Uns wurde zudem extra ein Abendessen serviert, als wir hungrig mit dem Fahrrad eintrafen.

Ein Haus zum Entspannen
10.0Das Haus und die Gastgeberin sind außergewöhnlich, wir haben von ihr viel von der Geschichte des Landes erfahren. Auch hat sie uns Tipps zur Besichtigung der in der Nähe befindlichen Stadt Kuldiga gegeben, sodass wir diese mit ganz anderen Augen erkundet haben. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und liebevoll in einem alten Salon hergerichtet, wir haben uns einfach Wohl gefühlt. Auch das Abendessen auf der Veranda bei einem guten Glas Wein in der ruhigen Umgebung haben wir sehr genossen.
