Great accommodation and good value for money

9.0

I loved staying at Keadue with my dog. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. It is quiet, with the Burtonport old railway walks practically passing the door. Easy to reach other areas of the Ross area of Donegal. The host took the trouble to check that I had found everything to my satisfaction, and was very responsive if I had any questions. I understand new doors and windows are being fitted and a new hob (some people had commented on that). Yes the staircase is outside, and I was lucky that it was mostly dry when I stayed. But this place is incredibly good value for money - I have stayed in more expensive self-catering which have been much less comfortable and less well equipped.

Ruhige Lage, jedoch viel Potenzial

7.0

We had a nice time in Keadue Holiday Cottage

8.0

Excellent location and great price. The wifi was good. The living room had a great size TV and comfy furniture. The kitchen area was small but functional. It was good to have an outdoors bistro set to enjoy the glorious sunsets. The bedroom was lovely. The bed was a good size and comfy, even if difficult to get in/out of for the person next to the wall.

The bathroom and bedroom access is from the outside of the property. We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the decking was incredibly slippery, so going to the loo was a bit of health hazard in the bad weather. The heaters were complicated to figure out without instructions. The cooking plate had lost all markings to harsh cleaning so it took a lot of guess work, trial-and-error to get cooking.
