10.0Sumba Lodge is a true gem, set in a stunning, peaceful location surrounded by nature. Our room was luxurious and wonderfully spacious, with ocean views (and views of spectacular sunrises and sunsets) and the soothing sounds of birds and local wildlife throughout the day. What further elevates the experience is the genuine hospitality of the owner, Katia, who makes guests feel personally welcomed and cared for. A perfect retreat for comfort, beauty, and tranquility.

10.0Katia and her staff were welcoming and friendly. Katia wears many hats as host/owner, chef, bartender and more. And she excels at it all! They work hard to accommodate any and all reasonable requests. The views from our room, the rooftop and pool areas were beautiful! Rooms were clean and a very nice size. I’d recommend you have a car rental to get around and into town. It’s walkable if you like long hilly hikes to get where you’re going. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Sumba Lodge for you stay in Manuel Antonio.
