10.0Great location for local walks, great facilities in the village, shops, take aways and pubs on the doorstep. Accommodation beautifully presented, beds comfortable. On the main road but no issues really, bedrooms at the back so no traffic noise issues, didn't seem to be too busy anyway. Supply of board games made for a fun evening

10.0Wonderfully cosy property which had been thoughtfully modernised. The underfloor heating was most welcome in December. The decor is really well done - loved the TV disguised as a mirror. Amazing big bath and soft towels.

3.0Modern Kitchen/Bathroom. Great character.
− Rude host, main bedroom smelled of cigarettes smell. Owners arrived and mentioned they couldn't smell it and rolled his eyes. Bunk bed room top bunk wasn't made/changed prior to our arrival, hair embedded into the sheet, same with the mattress protector. Top bunk mattress was heavily stained, pull out bunk was really uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in my back. Glass pieces found in the dishwasher, cracked mug also found in the kitchen. Heating in the living room was hard set to a really cold temperature. Not the cleanest, I found a dead old fly by the candle, and when I cleaned near the toilet floor (after my 3 year old missed the toilet a little) the antibacterial wipe I used to clean it up with was dark with dirt. I sent a message to the host after our stay with private feedback, but nearly a month later, I'm yet to receive an apology or even an acknowledgement. I really wanted to love this place, such a shame.
