Peaceful, spacious and well stocked with regard to kitchen equipment. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure. Furniture and decor was well maintained. Good WiFi and nice to have a smart TV. The host was very quick to respond to any queries.

− Louvre blinds in bedrooms did not block out the light so had to make a trip to buy eye masks - I can generally sleep anywhere! Although the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes and utensils, they all needed washing before use. A welcome pack of milk and tea or coffee would have been appreciated more than a bottle of water!

Griff Lodge a Beautiful Stay

Lovely peaceful weeks stay in the quiet village of Harome. Lovely, clean cottage with plenty of space for 4 people. Easy to find and host was very informative in everything we needed to know before we arrived and any issues host was easy to contact. We throughly enjoyed our stay and was a good base for us to get around and enjoy all the activities that yorkshire has to offer. The garden area was large with a table and chairs. Really lovely picturesque place with two nice restaurants on the doorstep. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the crisps and biscuits went down a treat with the kids thanks ❤️

− To improve other people's stay I would advise host to invest in some sun loungers we were fortunate with glorious weather and had no where to relax properly outside. A little cupboard area with games, books, playing cards etc would go down a treat on a night we left junior monopoly to start the collection! Wall mounted toothbrush cup holder would be ideal for in the bathroom and lastly a potato masher is needed! Little extras to make this stay perfect 👌

It was lovely. Very clean and modern, lashings of hot water , comfortable beds, great location, well appointed. Would highly recommend. A few small things could be added but really there was really absolutely NOTHING to complain about.

− There isn’t much to say here. Instructions for the coffee maker and dishwasher would have been useful. We didn’t bother with the coffee machine in the end, and the dishwasher worked ok but we were not quite sure what we did to make it work ! A few more kitchen items such as roasting tins, and serving dishes etc would have come in handy. Although there are places to eat locally we choose to cater for ourselves in the Lodge.
