The view is absolutely stunning, and only a 5 min walk from the beach. All the beds were suuuper comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Waking up in the morning just to make coffee in that kitchen with that amazing view was definitely one of our favourite things. The sun terrace was also a major highlight, day and night we would sit up there. We will definitely be booking again!

− We couldn't get one of the doors to lock which worried us a bit however most of this house's facilities were perfect for our beach stay.

Great holiday location for the family

The location was unbeatable. The view of the bay, the ease of the walk into the main street and down to the beach, yet far enough away that there was no noise from the pubs. The kitchen and amenities (crockery, cookware etc) were great, as were the seating in the living space.

− The house could do with some upgrades. The second bathroom, in particular the shower, is very old. Water pressure wasn't great. The confusion across different listings for the same location with regards to the bed sizes was annoying given the need to provide linens.

The view from the lounge room & deck is spectacular. The rolling hills and ocean together are just stunning and instantly relaxing.

− The house was unwelcoming but I believe most of the issues stemmed from the property management team. We ordered linen & towels, as this is somehow not included in the expense of hiring an entire house. We were contacted the day before arrival and told the regular provider could not give us linen until 3 days into our stay. We contacted the property management team and they told us they could help us out, for a little more than the other company, but we’d have to make our own beds. The linen provided did not match the beds in the house resulting in one of our group having to sleep with no sheets on the first night, which was horrible. There were 2 half used rolls of toilet paper for our group of 4 for 4 nights, no tea, no coffee, no milk. I think somehow the basic service expectations v/s what is provided by renting a whole house has been forgotten, there is less and less care and very little value.

We really had a wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we required.

The location was amazing with a spectacular view! Apollo bay is a wonderful place to stay. Ideal for families. The beach is beautiful.

− The property is quite old but in reasonable condition. The second shower needed attention and we did not use. The property also does not have WiFi which was disappointing as we had tween/teenagers and had to use our own. The tv signal was also terrible also and we could only watch ABC and SBS.
