We liked the location, bed was comfy, we had a bed and a bathroom each, close to public transport, double glazing, view of the Thames River, cafecaround the corner, plenty of room for us, washer and dryer as well.

− The clutter, disorganised linen, some deeper cleaning and maintenance needs to happen.

It is a lovely flat that is not loved.

Right before arrival and not earlier we have received exact information where the keys can be picked up from. It all went smoothly. The host was responsive, when I had a query. The flat has a beautiful view over the river.

− We were requested to pay a deposit, which the host did not immediately paid back. I had to email many times, and the travel agent, did not help. The internet was not working great, the hob was broken, tiles in the flat were broken, fridge was broken, the washing machine was broken and could not be used.

The location suited our requirements.

− - After confirmation received from Booking.com the owner contacted me direct via WhatsApp demanding a £150 security deposit must be paid to his personal UK bank account or we would forfeit our full payment. Being international tourists this was difficult to do and seemed somewhat dodgy. I suggested a security deposit should have been organised via Booking.com. Getting the security deposit back required several follow ups on my part. - Was initially told the owner would be on site to hand over keys. This changed last minute to having to pick up keys from a shop nearly 1km away. This was very logistically inconvenient considering we had luggage. - No welcome or instruction guides were provided. This would have been helpful for international visitors. - No wifi information was provided. - The washer/dryer was broken. Specifically booked accommodation to be able to do our washing before continuing our travels. The owner was not helpful to rectifying the problem. Had to spend valuable holiday time going to a laundromat. - Despite the apartment being relatively new there were several maintenance issues, e.g the main bathroom shower was leaking so we couldn’t use it; the toilet in the main bathroom constantly dripped; the cooktop was broken and the portable ones provided were extremely dirty. - The beds were not comfortable. - Very limited and basic kitchenware. - No hand towels or tea towels were provided. - Everything needed a good clean, some of the cupboards were full of clutter and stuff. - Having now looked at previous reviews, many of these issues appear to be long term and have not been addressed. - The most stressful part of our stay was having to deal with the owner/manager. He was unhelpful, belligerent and rude.

Puikus didelis erdvus butas. Gražus vaizdas pro langą. Buvo viskas, ko reikia. Balkonas / terasa taip pat didelis privalumas. Autobusų stotelė čia pat prie namo.
