10.0Location is walking distance from main street and shops. Love the detail to every room. Very clean and comfortable.
− The security door by the pool was left unlocked and kept slamming throughout the night. At around 1:00 a.m., I had to go outside and wedge a chair against the door to stop it from banging because it was impossible to sleep.
A real treat.

8.0I love the wonderful gal that runs the house. She's bright and very helpful. We appreciate the location too, so close to all the amenities. The front garden is gorgeous and the pool area is perfect for afternoon cocktails.
− This is our 2nd time staying at The Belmont. We usually have the first bedroom to the left which suits us fine- for getting in and out fast. Our only concern is the shower cubicle - it makes a mess everywhere and could be quite risky/hazardous.
Gem in the heart of Franschoek!
10.0Absolutely fantastic location in the heart of Franschoek - attended Bastille Day festival and we were basically at the festival. Most comfortable beds, large bedrooms and bathrooms - no noise as off main road so restful sleep. Friendly accommodating staff - even allowed late checkout so that my daughter could have a quick shower after her trail run.
