Excellent value for money & comfortable rental in a great location for exploring Sao Miguel. Host Sonia is a gem
9.0Host Sonia is amazingly kind and helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble. Property is in an excellent location with on street parking available right outside if your luck is in, and only a short walk away if not Property is comfortable and very well equipped - perfect for 3 of us for a week. There is a barbecue on the terrace (Sonia kindly brought a new grill during our stay), and washing machine in an outbuilding. Everything works as it should and we appreciated the welcome package of goodies on our arrival Lagoa is a convenient base for exploring the whole island. We could not have picked a better place to stay and would happily stay here again if/when we return to Sao Miguel
− A couple of minor points which I am certain would have been addressed had we asked: We would have appreciated an extra pillow or two, and the sofa bed was a tad hard to sleep on. Neither of these points affected our stay
