Feel at home in Rome
10.0Maison LuCe feels like home away from home. The host had excellent communication throughout our stay, and arriving at the property was very easy. The apartment is very spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and the decks were a nice way to get some fresh air. The location is in a nice neighborhood that is very walkable with food, basic groceries, gelato, and bus service all 5-10 minute walk. The local sushi place was a wonderful break from the pizza-pasta pattern of Italian tourist eating. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay, even helping us with an early train to catch out of town as we checked out. This is a lovely place to feel at home while touring Rome.
− It is difficult to catch a taxi from here. You need to have an app (which did not seem to work for us) or walk about 10-15 minutes to a hotel where there is a taxi stand. You also need to download and study the bus system ahead of time to make sure you know how it all works. It's confusing, but very convenient once you figure it out.
