Great relaxing stay!
10.0Comfortable and clean with a very friendly and helpful host. Good location. Powerful shower. Beautiful view. Ample Parking places.
Comfortable, warm bed, good location. On main road, next to a petrol station. No breakfast.
8.0Although on a main road and next to a gas station, the location was very good as a base to explore the things we had planned: the tidal pool, Dún Briste at Downpatrick Head, the Moyne Abbey, boating to Inishkea Islands, a visit to the town of Ballina and to enjoy a pint and watch “the game” at McDonnells, aka the lobster pot. My bed was warm and comfortable. The water pressure great in the shower.
− The passing cars were noisy, the sun set right into the gas station, there was some noise at night from the main house which kept us up until 4am until whoever it was that was visiting left. There is no breakfast served, not even a fresh continental. We found our keys under a mat instead of a personal greeting from host, communal area upstairs odd…each room should have its own kettle. The dart board (?) encouraged gatherings there instead of allowing guests to have rest, peace and quiet. No television either which isn’t a must but each guest was buzzing about that. I feel this host should have made some of these things known in the listing and made more of an effort to answer her guests messages in a timely fashion (didn’t answer fellow guests inquiry at all, and took almost two weeks to answer one of my questions.) I hate to leave this type of review but I personally rely on ratings and reviews when making my selections. It’s not at all personal. It is strictly business.

3.0very good shower and spacious room opportunity to meet other guests in the alcove area beside the common fridge and kettle spacious and safe on site car parking
− it is on a main road. in the summertime, we couldn't keep the windows open due to the busy road.24/7. which impacted on sleep the room would benefit from a TV for guests,room coffee making and new mattresses and a good clean of the shower/fans.
