The property had everything we needed and was perfect for our needs. Hopefully we’ll go back and explore the area more and would happily stay there again

Whisper quiet, spacious, thoughtfully furnished, helpful instructions for appliances. Largest kitchen I’ve cooked in ever! Short walk to a service station and easy drive to many of Yorks attractions. We stayed mid summer and the farmer was raking hay but we couldn’t hear the tractor within the house. It was lovely watching the cows coming and going for milking. The TV worked!!! So we could enjoy the world cup and Wimbledon after hours out rambling. Our only challenge was heading to the local inn and it wasn’t serving food due to a pre booked function- so remember to reserve a table.

− Nothing. My back prefers a soft mattress and the double beds was a bit firm.

The accommodation was superb, so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Our hosts were so welcoming. Many thanks to Sue, her husband and their son, Adam, for making our stay extra special by arranging for 2 of our party to help milk the cows and learn about dairy farming. The location is wonderful. Lots of public footpaths on your doorstep and Aysgarth Falls was about a 3.5 mile round trip. Well worth doing. We would recommend staying here.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Very well appointed with everything you need. There is plenty of space, comfortable beds and wonderful views from every window. The hosts were really approachable and friendly.
