Nous avons passé 5 nuits au Cempaka chalet. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Notre chalet était très confortable, propre et très bien équipé..., climatisation de qualité, serviettes avec 2 lits très confortables. A proximité immédiate de très bon resto : Barat, Juara café.... et de 3 épiceries. Possibilité d'organiser vos activités sur l île avec Wan. L'environnement immédiat est calme et paisible avec une vue magnifique sur la plage. Je recommande.

Fabulous location, right on the most beautiful beach. Great having a little fridge, kettle, aircon and fan. Loved the front porch for relaxing and looking at stunning views. Owners were super helpful with great communication. Turtle came nesting right outside on beach. Quiet spot.

great location, so many food options nearby and the beach is right at our doorstep. clean room and toilet, aircon and fridge were a huge bonus. owners were friendly and helpful. i am very satisfied with the stay.

− water pressure was a little weak and there was a water problem in the village due to the summer heat but it is not the chalet's fault. motorcycles passing by may be a little loud but nothing too disruptive as juara is considerably a quiet village.

Great value for money beach front accomodation in Juara

We booked the room for 2 people and it was so spacious and the interior was modern enough. It is literally on the beach, you just have to open the door and walk 10 steps to reach the beach. There are some hammocks outside the chalet which we sat on and enjoyed as well. On the last day, we got up at 6.30am to catch our ferry and watched the most beautiful sunrise. It is also extremely close to our Dive Center (3 mins walk), which was a huge plus. It is in close proximity to several restaurants and resorts in Juara which we dined at. Thankfully, we had pre-empted the insect issue from reviews here and brought our own portable insect net, which I would highly recommend for anyone considering to stay here. I would stay again if visitng Juara as the chalet provides great value for its price!

− On the last day of our stay, the hot water was intermittent while showering for over 1 hour. It was more often off than on. Unfortunately, we had to shower in cold water after a long day of diving. We tried to contact the host but she was unavailable. We made do and managed to shower anyway. Another issue are the flies that are attracted to light at night. On the last 2 nights, due to eminent rain, a swarm of flies gathered outside our room as we left the porch light on during dinner. We switched off the porch lights and went into the room, but the light from inside the room made the flies swarm in from the window and under the door. We had to use our belongings to block the slit under the door and switched off the room lights entirely while using our phone lights to stop flies from swarming in. It was quite an experience but still tolerable for us. We also had zero wifi during our whole stay but we had e-sims so it wasn't a big issue. For those who want to do work/ need wifi, do take note of this.
