The host and the area were super great, but the AC situation and the pet hair left us a bit uncomfortable.

The location was very good, near the Vatican and near the metro. The area is surrounded by nice small shops and restaurants. The host was super friendly and welcoming.

− The air conditioning is centralised, meaning that all the rooms in the apartment—which is essentially an apartment where the bedrooms have been converted into individual hotel-style rooms—are connected to the same system. Each room has an AC vent, but the temperature and settings are controlled by the host rather than by the guests individually. The AC remained on dehumidifier mode during our stay. The host was very open and told us that we could ask them to change the temperature whenever necessary, and they would do so on our behalf. However, we found it a little inconvenient and awkward not to have individual control over the temperature in our own room. Since the system is shared, we also felt that we had to consider the comfort of the other guests when asking for a temperature change. For example, if we became too hot in the middle of the night, there was nothing we could do immediately apart from using the fan provided, which was unfortunately quite loud. We would have preferred to have independent control over the temperature in our room rather than having to contact the host every time we wanted the temperature adjusted. Another issue we noticed was pet hair. We understand that this is a pet-friendly property, but in our opinion, being pet-friendly should not mean that there is pet hair left on the bed. We found quite a lot of pet hair on the mattress cover, which could then easily transfer onto the bed sheets. This made the bed feel less clean and, honestly, a little uncomfortable to sleep in.

ひとり旅にはぴったりの部屋と環境でした。部屋にはウォークインクローゼットがついています。そのため、室内でスーツケースを広げる必要がなく、それでなくても広い部屋を、更に広々と使うことができました。収納スペースには困らないので、長期滞在にもお勧めです。 ベットも大きく、寝心地が良かったです。バスルームも清潔でした。同じ通りに市場があるので、安くて新鮮なものが食べられます！

La habitación es súper cómoda y grande, baño súper limpio y moderno. Había toallas, shampoo, tele, hasta un vestidor. Es una habitación en un departamento de varias habitaciones pero se siente como un cuarto de hotel. Está cerca del Vaticano, no en el barrio más turístico pero igual caminando se llega a los lugares y si no en metro. Tiene una estación a dos cuadras. Volvería.

− Se pasa un poco el sonido entre habitaciones, nada grave.

Cómodo y espacioso

Habitación bastante amplia y limpia, con aire acondicionado (había ola de calor y era fundamental). La cama muy cómoda. Ubicación cerca del Vaticano, de restaurantes y transportes.

− En general bien, solo que el aire acondicionado es centralizado y no puedes ajustarlo para tu habitación, una noche salí a bajar la temperatura porque me desperté del calor. Y eché en falta una lámpara en la mesita de noche.

This is a very clean and spacious room located nearby Vatican City. Mike’s mother is very friendly and informative with food and treats recommendations. Overall, it’s very pleasant stay in Rome.
