Poor management by Claudia

We loved Niki, the owner of the place. She is a true gem! Amazing woman

− This review is for Claudia, the manager of the property. This is not for Niki or the room. On the 25th April 2004 I had booked another accommodation. On the 13th June 2024 Claudia (the manager of the other accommodation) told me that there was an error on her system and the room was not available. She asked me to cancel it and book Nikis room (which she also manages). I immediately told her that I was not happy with this, as the other accommodation was a much superior room, with ocean view, private balcony and cheaper. I even called her the day before our stay to say that I’m still not happy with the room and she was trying to convince me that the room is much better. Other platforms show that the other accommodation had availability, but Claudia on the phone told me that there is nothing available and the system just shows it. I also went to the other accommodation and spoke to the owners. They confirmed that they actually had my original room available on the 4th and 5th August, whereas Claudia lied to me saying that it was not available. I’m very disappointed by Claudia’s management. I have also submitted a complaint to booking.com and still waiting for their assessment.
