The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The owner was willing to help us with our needs. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay in Samosir. I got to be woken up by the neighbouring chickens as they crowed early in the morning. All the best for Talpe Villa. Keep up the excellent service

the house is great, it exceeded our expectation and is comfortable for stays

− the room provided is only suitable for 4 people when we booked for 6 persons. the host told that its because they wrongly fill in the website which is i think quite unacceptable. we asked for 2 extra towels and pillows so that it can accommodate our party but only pillow is given, towels is said that not available. this is the only cons here

- Everything seems new - Everything works - Comfortable double bed - Manager speaks good English - Friendly - Small kitchen - Hot water in the shower - Very good scooter for rent - Private taxi to Silangit International Airport, located 77km south of Parapat, for 1,000,000 IDR organized by the manager. - Bottled drinking water available - Manager responded to all emails and questions. - Air conditioning or fan is not needed at Lake Toba in early September. - WiFi - Nice balcony to sit on. - During the day it was quiet without the noisy chickens. - I was the only guest, so no slamming doors from other people or annoying conversations late at night on the balcony outside my room.

− - Very loud chickens from 4:30 a.m. My room was on the 1st floor. In the incredibly old house next door there were a lot of chickens about 10 - 15 m away, which made a lot of noise from about 4:30 am. I couldn't sleep longer than 4:30 a.m. Then I would have been in bed for several hours and heard the annoying very loud chickens screaming at full volume. Every morning, I was pretty angry before I got up. If it weren't for the very loud chickens, I would have given a rating of 9. - Wrong WiFi password The manager gave me the wrong WiFi password. He had used blanks and capital letters, which was wrong. The friendly man in the house next door gave me the right password. Luckily, I had an Indonesian SIM card. - No shop or restaurant in the immediate vicinity But this is not a problem if you rent a scooter. - No reception The manager does not live in the same building. If there is a problem or you want to know something, you must call or email him. You must call him for the key when you arrive at Lake Toba. - Lots of small ants were on the floor at my entrance door, but not in my room.
