− The host revised the rates upwards claiming that the rates given by booking.com was less than what she expects. She therefore asked that I should talk to booking.com and that she can't host with the booking.com rates. This is after I called before the travel to confirm the booking details- I wonder how it would have been if I had shown up and the issue about the rates came up. I made alternative arrangements

The location was great since it was on the road.

− The host was not very pleasant but she eventually apologized for her rude reaction towards us. The room had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival and it took the host two days to come and clean after our arrival.

Thai lady aint honest , is a bad businesswoman and is everything but respectful full if you dont want to be on the stree

Nithing this laday made us come to the place it was around 11pm . And then said “i cannot accommodate you the room is taken ..” no sorry , no solution me and my friend had to find a last minute solution. Diani is beautiful but if you like your peace of mind run from This property

My two days at Villa Julia, Golden sands

The bed, beddings and couch are in good condition. The ventilations sufficient. Kitchen standard. The gatekeepers were great and courteous. The incharge of the overall facility a sober person with a listening ear. Part of the swimming pool was ok. The other sections needed more cleaning though. Direct access to the beach was a great plus to me.

− The verandahs needs daily cleaning. They were dirty. Here is what spoilt all the good of the place🙆🏼‍♂️ The owner lady Juliet was rude to me. She even threatened me. All was well until I requested to have my room cleaned on the third day. Wueh🙆🏼‍♂️, She had the guts to tell me am not the only one staying in their property and the rest of the guests haven't had their rooms cleaned and they weren't complainning. The bathroom has no door so when you shower water flows to the rest of the bathroom space. The flow trap doesn't drain well. You literally have to step on water every time you using the loo. Mark you, the room has no mopper, I would dry the bathroom after use if this was provided. I had to move out on protest on the third day. I requested for cleaning from 7:26am. Called multiple times to find out the progress and when I realised she wasn't willing to do the cleaning I had told her I was moving out. She demanded I pay for the day since it was already 12, which I refused. She even threatened me on how I will end up using that cash in mysterious circumstances if I don't pay. (This lady clearly doesn't know the God I serve). I requested her I speak to incharge of the facility and they gave me a listening. I finally checked out. She surely needs to learn on how to handle different needs of her clients. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are sensitive to hygiene levels.
