10.0Great location - very close to town but also really peaceful and homely. Comfy beds and everything we needed for a brilliant 5 night stay in Buxton. Great view of the slopes out front and just a 5 minute walk to a bunch of amazing restaurants and the shops / The Crescent Helpful and friendly host as well. Top marks!
− Leaving! For the benefit of others the only consideration which may be an issue are the stairs as there are two flights to get to the property and another flight to get from the lower floor to the upper within the apartment. This really didn't bother us at all but for those less able it might do. I wouldn't let this put you off though as everything else was just perfect 👌
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended.
10.0We stayed at Tawny Roost for five nights with our family and two dogs, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is right in the very centre of Buxton, so everything is just a short stroll away. The property itself was warm, cosy and beautifully kept – it felt like a real home from home. The owner sent us clear and helpful instructions before our arrival, which made checking in completely stress-free. Our dogs were made to feel welcome too, which meant a great deal to us.
