Review of 10 Fair View - Expectations exceeded
8.0The property was extremely nice, modern interior, aircon came in handy during the heat wave, nice swimming pool, plenty space on the couches, we had friends renting another house in the Estate but we ended up gathering at 10 Fair View for movies and entertainment. Very clean and comfortable.
− I have few things I would like to comment on, not major but they could enhance the experience: 1. wooden door, entrance from street, needs fixing. It is a double door and the one side was rubbing against the floor and have to open the other side slightly in order to close properly (alignment issue). 2. The one guest toilet was leaking. 3. Shower in main bedroom needs glass, otherwise water spills on the floor when showering. 4. Aircon near the TV leaks after a while (maintenance issue). 5. I had 5 bicycles and having availability of one garage would have helped. I needed to carry the bikes daily from the entrance. The actual property turned out to be much better than the photos on bookings.com which was a positive for me and led to my expectations being exceeded.

7.0It’s a beautiful house with great potential. I can imagine in Summer it’s lovely with the pool and outside braai.
− The amenities are lacking a bit. Small things, but calling it “luxury” is a stretch without these. Examples: house advertised for 8 people, but dining room table only has 6 chairs. No full length mirrors. Only 8 plates so you’re constantly washing dishes. No cleaning services.
