Quirky place with room for improvement
5.0I liked the Alice in Wonderland theme - it was quirky and fun. The hosts were friendly and quickly resolved an issue I had on check in, even thoughtfully providing me with a bottle of Prosecco. Sadly I couldn’t take it away with me as I had to carry my rucksack through Lincoln and the bottle proved too heavy but hopefully they’ll enjoy it instead.
− It took me a while to find the key safe. Maybe that was just me! Unfortunately, I had a bad night’s sleep as the beds were extremely hard and the curtains let in a lot of light at dawn. Pillows were also huge and very hard but thankfully I’d brought my own. I felt the place needs a deep-clean. There were a few cobwebs and hairs in places. Lots of scuffs and marks on the walls so could do with a refresh.
It was a great place to stay for a weekend, very central. Would stay again for a weekend.
