Nice and modern place, but an ‘apartment’ that isn’t truly an apartment

The accommodation is almost new, very modern and built in the classic white Greek style. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of sunbeds, although most of them are in direct sunlight. A few sunbeds are placed in the garden area, which is a bit rocky, so walking there without shoes is not very comfortable. Pool towels and bathrobes are provided. The property is located further from the beach, so having a car is helpful, but shops are within walking distance. Overall, the place is visually very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

− Before arrival, we read in reviews that the air conditioning is located only in the lower part of the apartment and may not cool the whole unit. Unfortunately, the reality was much worse — the mezzanine with the bed was extremely hot and impossible to ventilate. Even with the AC running downstairs, the cool air stayed below and the heat accumulated above, making it impossible to sleep there. The bed was also too firm for my preference. Although the property is advertised as an apartment (in my language), it does not include a stove or any cooking equipment. When we contacted the host, we were told this was clearly stated on Booking, but the listing only mentions what is included, not what is missing. This was disappointing, as we had already bought breakfast items and pasta. Had we known, we would have chosen a different place. For an apartment, basic cooking facilities are generally expected — a lesson for us for next time.

Tout était parfait. L'accueil fut très chaleureux. La propreté était au top. Et c'était magnifique. Je recommande.

Struttura incantevole, molto pulita, la signora delle pulizie ogni mattina veniva a pulire, sistemare e rifare il letto, asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno. La Proprietaria dolcissima e gentilissima, disponibile ad ogni ora. La piscina abbastanza grande e molto pulita,con lettini per prendere il sole. Posizione ottimale, a 4 minuti in macchina dalla spiaggia nera di Perissa, dove si trova il famoso Barolo Beach club e Jojo beach, nella vicinanze c’è anche un piccolo negozio dove poter fare un po’ di spesa. Le varie cittadine come FIRA ed IMEROVIGLI distano a 20 minuti circa con macchina,la più lontana Oia. Siamo stati benissimo, consiglio vivamente.
